Paper Honeycomb Core / Laminates

Paper Honeycomb Core / Laminates

Paper Honeycomb Technology is based on a structure of hexagonal cells of paper in a variety of cell sizes and thicknesses for industrial and logistical applications.

The honeycomb core gets its inspiration from the beehive and derives its strength from its natural hexagonal shape.

Specifications

  • 130–300 GSM recycled paper
  • Cell sizes: 4, 6, 8, 9, 12 & 14 mm
  • Core width: 60–1800 mm
  • Core thickness: 10–75 mm
  • Available in strip and continuous form
  • Notched core available for door-filler applications

Cell Size Applications

  • 4, 6, 8 & 9 mm: High-strength applications
  • 12 mm: Medium-strength applications
  • 14 mm: Low-strength applications

Applications

  • Panels
  • Pallets
  • Door fillers
  • Other industrial/logistical applications

Paper Honeycomb Laminates

The honeycomb core can be laminated from both ends to increase the strength and life of the resultant laminated boards.

The laminated boards provide a green substitute for conventional wooden boards.

Advantages

  • Lighter weight
  • Cheaper cost
  • Eco-friendly
  • Excellent replacement for wood and thermocol
  • Reusable
  • Very high resistance to vertical compression
  • Higher burst strength than thermocol

Board Specifications

  • Thickness: 10–75 mm
  • Maximum width: 1500 mm
  • Maximum length: 3000 mm
  • Punch holes available
  • Die-cutting available
